About Us:

Walk Ministries, Inc. is a foster care, adoption, and orphan care ministry of Point Bible Church (formerly First Baptist Church of Whitney Point). We were officially incorporated (not-for-profit) on 7/28/16. Our board members alphabetically: Gary Dean, Marsha Dean, Pastor Darren Maslin, Pastor Ronald Maslin, Michelle Ormsby, and Brent Piech. We became incorporated in order to keep finances separate from the church, primarily due to the Grace Haven Ministry, however, our finances continue to be held accountable to the church. Our end of the year financial statements are available upon request.

The ministry was officially launched on November 3, 2013; Orphan Sunday.

Walk Ministries was incorporated on 7/28/2016, as a non-profit agency in NYS.

We have seen numerous families come to fun days and conferences, utilize our on-line information, and genuinely seek God’s plan for their families. We’ve been thrilled to be a part of the ministries in Thailand. We’ve seen multiple families take a leap of faith and begin foster care. We’ve had some families experience the joy of adoption this year. We’ve also had families go through the hurts that go along with foster care and adoption. Through it all the Lord works in us all.

Currently we are raising funds for Grace Haven, a children’s home in Thailand run by Lesa Morgan and Josh & Becky Morgan with assistance from Macella Dean.
