Here at Point Bible Church we exist to bring God glory through the teaching of his word to build up the body of believers and to reach those who do not yet know Christ. We are an independent Baptist church that has been in existence for over 175 years but in 2019 we changed our name from First Baptist Church of Whitney Point to Point Bible Church. Our desire is to focus more on the truth of Gods word which changes lives than the traditions and teachings of men.

We are a multi generational church. On Sunday morning at 10am we offer nursery, toddler, and children’s classes during the service. We have Kid’s Club, and an Adult Bible Study with a time of prayer on Wednesday night at 6pm. And on Sunday Nights we have Youth Group for teens, grades 7-12th.

Our heartbeat as a church focuses around the verse James 1:27 ” Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. “

As a result we take serious the call to care for our elderly and our children. We are heavily involved in foster and adoption both here and around the world. We have a children’s home in Thailand to give children in long term care a family and home where they can learn of the love of Christ. We also have some great ministries to care for out elderly and shut-ins along with a mobile home park for seniors.

Every church has a different niche, and be believe God has specially equipped us to care for those who are often overlooked.
